modulation: GFSK? code type: PPM/PCM?

Problems, experiences or just something to say about RC gear? Say it here.

modulation: GFSK? code type: PPM/PCM?

Hi, can someone tell me what this means and how it compares to other technologies?

also, are these radios the same?

Gaussian Frequency-Shift Keying (GFSK) is a type of Frequency Shift Keying modulation that uses a Gaussian filter to smooth positive/negative frequency deviations, which represent a binary 1 or 0. It is used by DECT, Bluetooth[1], Cypress WirelessUSB, Nordic Semiconductor[2], Texas Instruments LPRF, z-wave and Wavenis devices. For basic data rate Bluetooth the minimum deviation is 115 kHz. (Source Wikipedia)
PPM in RC relates to the sending of information for servos by pulse width modulation.
PCM stands for pulse code modulation where the information is sent to the receiver as a digital code.
The hobbypartz radio is the same as the turnigy 9x from the same mfg.
The leader hobby one is using the same case and the same internal board but has the rf module removable which is an advantage if you want to use other modules such as frsky, without hacking the transmitter.
Compromising with out of control government is like living with a lion, sooner or later the bloody thing will eat you .

You accept the tyranny of the state when it's not being applied to you, when it is: it's too late.
