spektrum dx8 upgrade

I have DX8 DSM2 and want to upgarde to dsmx as I am about to try fpv and dont want the the video interference to cut radio.

after registering on spektrum site, saw a few upgrade versions.
should I download ALL versions? load them in series? whats the norm?

well, I have managed to get the firmware update on the tx, but i can't test it properly.

It actually required going in to the systems setup and choosing the .sax file and manually updateing(easy as one button when you know where it is), contrary to what the spektrum site says. maybe the later versions of dx8 had auto update program. had to have the card in when you look for it.

anyway, Bruce, I was wondering if you might like to run it on the radio waveometer screenamajig thing you have and see if it is any better at avoiding interference on the frequencie and choosing its initial signal positions.

Im having a go at a backpack and thought if the video inteferes, err on the side of caution.
