RC Radio Resolution, Servos, and Pulse Width

Scenario #1 Spectrum DX7 (non-SE)

The OG Spektrum DX7 radio has a 10-bit resolution (1024 steps). I THINK this means that the radio can only produce 1024 possible different pulse-widths which means that it can position a servo on one of it's channels in any of only exactly 1024 distinct positions as long as the receiver and the servo also have 10-bit resolution.

Let's stop there for now. Is this correct?

In an ideal world yes,
in reality the noise on the power supply of the transmitter means that the output will jitter slightly around a mean output.
Also the receiver will accurately respond to these variations and the servo being reliant on a potentiometer for its positional accuracy and the additional variability of its power supply will also exhibit jitter.
These variations are well beyond the abilities of most fliers to even perceive so the whole thing is really a non issue.
